How to Order a Transcript

Before Ordering a Transcript

• Note: If you have a financial hold on your student account, you cannot order a transcript. Contact the Bursar's Office at (785) 864-3322 or e-mail bursar@ku.edu for further information.
• Only a current or former student may order his or her transcript online. Third party inquiries should contact the Office of the University Registrar directly at (785) 864-4423 or e-mail registrar@ku.edu.
• A credit or debit card is required to order a transcript. If you do not have one, contact the Office of the University Registrar directly at (785) 864-4423 or e-mail registrar@ku.edu.
• If ANY of your coursework at the University of Kansas was taken before 1985, contact the Office of the University Registrar directly at (785) 864-4423 or e-mail registrar@ku.edu to verify that all academic coursework has been converted to an electronic format.
• If you have requested a name change, contact the Office of the University Registrar directly at (785) 864-4423 or e-mail registrar@ku.edu to ensure it has been processed prior to ordering your transcript.
• Review the transcript charges associated with ordering a transcript.
