Accreditation
The University of Kansas is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association Of Colleges and Schools (NCA). This accreditation provides assurance that KU has met nationally recognized standards. KU was granted a full 10-year accreditation on June 24, 2005. The next accreditation review will be 2015. Copies of accreditation documents can be found in the KU Accreditation Review section of our website.
Each program/school at the University of Kansas also must meet accreditation standards through the appropriate accrediting agency. Currently, all schools have full accreditation status. Review dates and accreditation periods for each school are available in the Institutional and Program Accreditation Status table.
