Deadlines for Enrolling/Adding/Changing Sections
Fall 2008

  • Students may enroll/add/change sections from their enrollment appointment time to the 20th day of the semester for full semester courses.
  • The 21st day of the semester through the last day of classes for the semester, students cannot enroll/add/change sections.
  • For short and irregular courses students can enroll/add/change sections only if the course has met fewer than 25% of the class sessions.

Dropping-Fall 2008

  • Once enrolled, students may drop courses from their enrollment appointment time until the day before the semester begins, a class dropped will be deleted from their academic record.
  • Period 1: The first fifteen instructional days of the semester or the first seven instructional days of summer session, a class dropped will be retained on their academic record with a status of dropped.
  • Period 2: The sixteenth instructional day through the sixtieth instructional day of the semester or the eighth instructional day through the thirtieth instructional day of summer session, a class dropped will appear on their transcript and a grade of WP or WF will be assigned by the instructor to the class.
  • Period 3: The sixty-first instructional day through the last day of classes for the semester or the thirty-first day through the last day of classes for the summer session, a student cannot withdraw from a course. The course grade will be determined by the student's overall academic performance.
  • For short or irregular courses students dropping during the first third of class meetings, a class dropped will be retained on their academic record with a status of dropped. Students dropping during the second third of class meetings, a class dropped will appear on their transcript and a grade of WP or WF will be assigned by the instructor to the class.
  • Students cannot withdraw from a class during the last third of class meetings. The course grade will be determined by the student's overall academic performance.
