Don't know your KU ID number?

If you are currently enrolled or have ever been enrolled

  1. Fax an enlarged and lightened copy of a photo ID to the Office of the University Registrar at 785-864-3900. Indicate you are requesting your KU ID number and include a phone number where you can be reached. You may also scan and email a photo id to registrar@ku.edu.
  2. An employee from our office will contact you with your KU ID number.

If you were recently admitted to KU (but have not yet enrolled)

Undergraduate students

  1. Go to www.admissions.ku.edu and click on Check Status on the right hand side.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Check Now
  3. Enter your last name, first initial, date of birth and the last four digits of your social security number and click on Submit Request.

Graduate students
