Accreditation
The University of Kansas is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association Of Colleges and Schools (NCA). This accreditation provides assurance that KU has met nationally recognized standards. KU was granted a full 10-year accreditation on June 24, 2005. The next accreditation review will be 2015. The professional schools at the University of Kansas are accredited by the appropriate accrediting agency. In addition, other degree programs also may be accredited. Review dates and accreditation periods for each program and school that are accredited are available.
